Star-Tribune feature on Auggie football duo

Go out and buy a copy of today's (Wednesday 9/3) Minneapolis Star-Tribune. On the front page of the sports section, you'll see a great feature by Dennis Brackin on Augsburg's passing combo of quarterback Jordan Berg and wide receiver Royce Winford.

Titled "Return of Air Augsburg," the feature profiles Berg and Winford, best friends who have become one of the top passing duos in Division III football. Berg threw for 3,444 yards and 34 touchdowns last season, and Winford caught 101 passes for 1,403 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Augsburg opens its football season this Saturday (9/6) at 1 p.m. at Crown College in St. Bonifacius. The Auggies' home-opener is next Saturday (9/13) at 7 p.m., when Wartburg (Iowa) visits Edor Nelson Field.
